Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By installing Rentshelf from the Shopify App Store, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, uninstall the app.
2. Service
Rentshelf is software that enables rental commerce on your Shopify storefront. We do not process payments, ship goods or act as a merchant of record — your Shopify store remains the merchant of record for every transaction.
3. Subscription
Paid plans are billed via Shopify. Billing is monthly, charges start at the end of the free trial, and you can cancel at any time by uninstalling the app. Partial months are prorated according to Shopify's billing rules.
4. Acceptable use
You will not use Rentshelf to rent items that are illegal to rent in your jurisdiction, or to deliberately mislead customers about availability, price or terms.
5. Uptime & support
We target 99.9% uptime. Support is provided via email at support@rentshelf.app — response times are 1 business day on paid plans, 3 business days on the free plan.
6. Liability
Rentshelf is provided "as is". We are not liable for lost revenue, damaged goods, customer disputes, or any downstream consequences of a booking — those remain the merchant's responsibility. Our liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the admin dashboard at least 14 days before taking effect.
